7th Annual Neurocritical Care Society Meeting

Objectives:
- Attendees will learn about recent developments in the use of intravenous and intraarterial thrombolysis for ischemic stroke, as well as review progress of the ongoing MISTIE trial.
- Attendees will learn about advances in critical care for ischemic stroke and other neurocritical illnesses, including pertinent information on drug delivery and mechanisms of action.
- Attendees will learn the latest basic and clinical-based scientific information about life-threatening diseases in neurocritical care.
- Attendees will learn about systems of health-care delivery that are pertinent to neurocritical care, including telemedicine, brain monitoring, ICU organization, quality assurance, and collegial communication.
- Attendees will discuss controversies in emergency care for neurologic patients, including those with cardiac arrest, brain trauma, and stroke.
