Open Forum
Visit during open forum times to learn how simulation exercises can enhance your education. Faculty will illustrate how simulations create realistic, relevant learning experiences and will offer hands-on time with the equipment. Open to all CHEST 2009 attendees.
METI Medical Educational Technology
METI (Medical Educational Technologies, Incorporated) offers a number of courses vital to learning the operation, techniques, maintenance, and troubleshooting of its simulation products, including the Emergency Care Simulator (ECS), the Human Patient Simulator (HPS), and iStan.

Scheduled Sessions
Only registered attendees will be admitted to scheduled sessions. All scheduled sessions will begin with a pretest and survey to assess your knowledge, experience, and comfort level in a range of clinical situations. A variety of simulation exercises will be conducted. Feedback will be given throughout, so you can continually monitor and improve your performance. A posttest and survey will help you identify any strengths and needs related to your clinical skills.
Registration Information
Online registration and a fee are required. If you register for CHEST 2009 by mail, fax, or phone, you will also need to register online for a scheduled session. Space is limited, so register early. No refunds or exchanges will be permitted. Scheduled sessions will begin promptly, so you must be on time. There will be no admittance once sessions have begun.
