The Second GlaxoSmithKline Distinguished Scholar in Thrombosis
In 2003, the ACCP, The CHEST Foundation, and GlaxoSmithKline created this prestigious award to support clinicians and/or scientists in their endeavors toward the development of new scientific evidence and the enhancement of education in the area of thrombosis. The Second GlaxoSmithKline Distinguished Scholar in Thrombosis will be selected in July 2008, and he or she will receive $50,000 per year for 3 years. The Distinguished Scholar will serve as a mentor to his or her successor in the fourth year and receive $10,000.
The application deadline for this award is April 30, 2008, and eligible applicants must be current Fellows of the ACCP. To be named a Distinguished Scholar in a specified area of chest medicine is to have achieved an esteemed and prominent status in that field. Apply today!
