Education Committee Goals
The ACCP's Education Committee works toward achieving its mission and vision by pursing the following goals:
- Conduct ongoing educational needs assessment in areas of diagnosis and management of chest, critical care, and sleep diseases, providing practitioners with current standards of care based upon a body of published evidence and guidelines.
- Promote adult learning principles based upon an established curriculum.
- Collaborate with other organizations to develop, sponsor, and/or disseminate continuing medical education activities.
- To meet or exceed current guidelines of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).
- Assess the impact of our educational interventions on improving professional practice.
