Fellow (FCCP)
Election to Fellowship (FCCP) in the ACCP attests to recognition as a specialist in a particular field. Fellows must be board certified, once in internal medicine, surgery, or pediatrics, and, again, in a subspecialty. Fellows (FCCP) that are not physicians hold a doctoral degree from an accredited graduate institution. Such degrees include, but are not limited to, PhD, PharmD, or DNSc., and are active in chest medicine, surgery, critical care, or sleep medicine.
