The American College of Chest Physicians ("ACCP") through the blogs section of its website, seeks to encourage discussion about ACCP, medical and health care issues, the profession and other member-related topics of interest. ACCP facilitates this discussion by providing a vehicle that enables interested members and others to post comments in response to the blogs posted by ACCP and its representatives and in response to comments submitted by other participants.

We request that commenters stay on topic and not submit comments that are obscene, abusive, sexually explicit, defamatory, inflammatory, anti-competitive, profane or otherwise objectionable.

Commenters may not post content that could cause the commenter or ACCP to incur legal liability such as comments violating the copyright or defamation laws. Commenters may not post any information or other material protected by copyright without the permission of the copyright owner.

ACCP is a non-profit and non-partisan organization which cannot endorse or oppose candidates for elective office or political parties and refrains from promoting one political party over another. Accordingly, commenters are to avoid posting information encouraging support or opposition to candidates for political office.

We ask that commenters avoid commercial messages and not post content promoting commercial products or services or containing commercial advertising.

Commenters should be courteous and not challenge or attack other participants.

Commenters should use caution and recognize that the name you submit with your comment will be in the public domain. Please do not submit any information you do not want to be publicly available or content that you would not want anyone to know came from you.
