rocketsurgery99: Long-awaited ACCP 9th Antithrombotic Guidelines now available from CHEST. #AT9 http://t.co/s5EpNasR
Update on RSS Feeds:
A couple of weeks ago I posted about RSS feeds: what they are and how you can use them to get updates when new content goes online. If you missed it, you can read it here. Maybe you've forgotten about RSS, so feel free to review it as a refresher.
Now we've launched some additional RSS alerts for the CHEST journal Web site. Now you can subscribe to alerts for any or all of the following:
And the new feeds include alerts when new articles are published to a specific Section of the journal. For example if you wanted to be notified when a new Interactive Physiology Grand Rounds article is published, it'll do that.
Just go to:
http://chestjournal.chestpubs.org/rss/
And select the things you want to be notified about. We're also planning to have medical subjects as RSS feeds eventually.
Subject Collections:
The other thing we added to the journal site last year is expanded collections. We've grouped all the articles published in CHEST since 2006 and created a list of them all in one place, so you don't have to go through each issue to find all the Pulmonary and Critical Care Pearls, for example. You can get to them easily by going to the Collections page (linked from the CHEST home page) and clicking on the collection you want to see.
Here's a direct link to all the CHEST Collections:
http://chestjournal.chestpubs.org/cgi/collection
If you like the CHEST Collections and find them useful, you can use the RSS feed alerts to notify you when new articles in your favorite Collections are published.
Enjoy!
