ACCP AT9 guidelines as Medical Apps etc: My DREAMS project

Hi Steve. I greatly enjoyed your blog and all the useful links you provide. Seems like we should talk. I am an internist and post doc research fellow at Dept of CE&B at McMaster University mentored by Gordon Guyatt. Gordon has involved me in ACCP Anti-thrombotic guidelines as chapter editor and I have become hooked on guideline development. However I realise that guideline dissemination and implementation is lagging behind guideline production. This is why I envision a new generation of evidence-based guidelines through an idea for a project called DREAMS. One of the things I am looking into are different platforms and tools for presenting guideline content. I came by your blog because I was interested in Medical Apps in handhelds. Tomorrow I will talk to David Gutterman who seems enthusiasthic on behalf of ACCP. I would be happy to send you a short draft of DREAMS if you wish to have a look and it would be great to talk....
