7th Annual Neurocritical Care Society Meeting

Overview

Objectives

1. Attendees will learn about recent developments in the use of intravenous and intraarterial thrombolysis for ischemic stroke, as well as review progress of the ongoing MISTIE trial.
2. Attendees will learn about advances in critical care for ischemic stroke and other neurocritical illnesses, including pertinent information on drug delivery and mechanisms of action.
3. Attendees will learn the latest basic and clinical-based scientific information about life-threatening diseases in neurocritical care.
4. Attendees will learn about systems of health-care delivery that are pertinent to neurocritical care, including telemedicine, brain monitoring, ICU organization, quality assurance, and collegial communication.
5. Attendees will discuss controversies in emergency care for neurologic patients, including those with cardiac arrest, brain trauma, and stroke.
