Simulation Center

The ACCP is an internationally recognized leader in continuing medical education for clinical pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. As a driving force in the development and delivery of innovative education programs, the ACCP utilizes state-of-the-art simulation education techniques to provide hands-on learning opportunities for practicing physicians and their teams. The ACCP Simulation Center:

  • Provides advanced, hands-on, clinical education experiences for participants from a wide scope of practices
  • Integrates a variety of task trainers, low- and high-fidelity simulators, and actual medical devices to provide optimal learning opportunities
  • Utilizes multimedia tools to enhance presentations and record the events
  • Emphasizes current standards of practice, patient safety, evidence-based patient care, and formative assessments
  • Offers courses led by expert clinicians in their respective fields of study
  • Offers many courses that provide additional online elements for continued learning
  • Offers certificate of completion opportunities for a range of courses
