The ACCP is an internationally recognized leader in continuing medical education for clinical pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. As a driving force in the development and delivery of innovative education programs, the ACCP utilizes state-of-the-art simulation education techniques to provide hands-on learning opportunities for practicing physicians and their teams. The ACCP's Simulation Center offers:
- Advanced hands-on, clinical education experiences for up to 40 participants per session
- Two high-fidelity METI human patient simulators, to provide optimal learning opportunities
- Utilizes multimedia tools to enhance presentations and record the events
- Emphasizes current standards of practice, patient saftey, evidence-based patient care, and formative assessments.
- Events are lead by experienced clinicians
