Role of Pulmonary Function Testing
  1. Performance of pulmonary function tests to assist management decisions is inappropriate (perfect consensus) for patients presenting with SSP.
  2. 77% of panel members indicate that results from previous pulmonary function tests would assist patient selection for an intervention to prevent a pneumothorax recurrence in special circumstances (good consensus).
Role of Age
  1. 90% of panel members did not incorporate the patient's age in determining management decisions.
