ACCP Application for Non-U.S. Education MeetingsThis application is for ACCP international Fellows (FCCP) requesting the following:
- ACCP Endorsement of a Non-U.S. Education Meeting (Click for Definition)
- ACCP Faculty Request at a Non-U.S. Education Meeting (Click for Definition)
Please note that requests for ACCP faculty to attend a non-U.S. education meeting will not be considered if the meeting is scheduled during a major ACCP educational event.
ACCP educational and/or leadership activities include:
- October 31 - November 5, 2009: CHEST 2009
- October 30 - November 4, 2010: CHEST 2010
- Other dates may disqualify your application depending on your needs. Once the application is submitted, the ACCP will correspond with you regarding your proposed meeting dates.
Furthermore, requests for ACCP faculty to attend a non-U.S. education meeting will not be considered if the meeting is in a location where the United States Department of State has issued a Travel Warning. Requirements
- You must be an ACCP Fellow (FCCP) to submit this application.
- If you are not an FCCP, please contact the ACCP Governor/Regent in your country to work with you to submit your application.
- It is your responsibility to work with the Regent or Governor in your country to submit a letter of support, written in English, for this application. Upon completion of this application, an e-mail will automatically be sent to your Governor/Regent with a copy of your application and a reminder to submit the letter of support. Your application will not be considered if this letter of support is not submitted.
Application Deadlines
- Applications to request endorsement of an education meeting will be accepted throughout the year. Such applications must be submitted at least six months prior to the start of the meeting.
- Applications for faculty requests for education meetings scheduled July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010, are due on December 1, 2008. The ACCP will respond to applications by April 15, 2009. Early responses are possible when necessary.
