"Sleep: As Important as Diet and Exercise (Only Easier!)"

2008 NATIONAL SLEEP AWARENESS WEEK®
March 3 – 9, 2008

Each year, the National Sleep Foundation (NSF) organizes the annual public education, information, and awareness campaign known as National Sleep Awareness Week®. This weeklong, nationwide effort coincides with daylight saving time and presents participants with a wide variety of exercises and activities. One event highlight includes the release of the 2008 Sleep in America Poll, which focuses on the personal sleep habits of physicians.

For the fourth year, the ACCP is a proud cosponsor of National Sleep Awareness Week®. In partnership with the NSF, the ACCP-Sleep Institute is committed to the promotion of sleep health and the advancement of sleep medicine in the United States and around the world. Now in its 11th year, the overall goal of National Sleep Awareness Week® is to make sleep consciousness a part of every person’s lifestyle.
