ACCP SLEEP INSTITUTE SURVEY
The ACCP-Sleep Institute (ACCP-SI) recently distributed a survey to a random sample of 5,004 US physician members. The voluntary, Web-based survey was designed to gather clinicians’ perspectives about their own sleep and how it affects their work and performance. The survey also served to complement the consumer-focused National Sleep Foundation 2008 Sleep in America Poll.
The ACCP-SI survey respondents answered questions in a variety of categories, including sleep and wake schedules for weekdays and weekends, caffeine and other simulate use, and common sleep complaints. A press release detailing the survey and its findings is now available. |
