Allied Health NetWork
Reasons to Join
As a Respiratory Therapist, the American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP), and it’s Allied Health NetWork afford me a venue to learn, teach, and network with pulmonary medicine professionals.
I am proud to be a member of the ACCP and the Network, as this bonding helps physicians and nonphysicians provide superior treatment for patients by identifying best practices and arranging for cutting-edge research to be presented during conferences and at the CHEST annual meeting.
Many members of the NetWork participated in last year’s clinical simulation opportunities, in areas of disaster, bronchoscopy, pulmonary function, and pediatric intensive care. It further emphasized the close working relationship between allied health professionals and pulmonary physicians both in the United States and around the world.
