Pulmonary Vascular Disease NetWork

A clinical NetWork focused on helping the pulmonary vascular disease community,
including physicians, allied health-care professionals, and patients to achieve the best
possible patient-focused care through advancement of education and research.

 

Dear Colleague,

I would like to welcome you to the Pulmonary Vascular Disease (PVD) NetWork and encourage you to participate in its various activities.

The PVD NetWork is an interdisciplinary group of ACCP members with a common interest in pulmonary vascular diseases. The purpose of the NetWork is to enhance communication and interaction of ACCP members with similar interests to achieve our objectives.

Structure

The NetWork is led by a steering committee of ACCP members, with support of an ACCP staff liaison. The steering committee consists of a Chair, Vice-Chair, and up to eight members-at-large. The Chair of the NetWork is a member of the Council of NetWorks. The Chair of the Council of NetWorks represents all of the NetWorks on the ACCP Board of Regents.

  • CHEST annual meeting scientific program topics on pulmonary vascular disease
  • Curriculum in pulmonary vascular disease posted on the NetWork Web page
  • Survey of fellows in training regarding training in pulmonary vascular disease
  • Educational tools for fellows in training
  • Directory of centers specializing in the treatment of pulmonary vascular disease
  • Assistance in the development and dissemination of Diagnosis and Management of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension: ACCP Evidence-Based Clinical Practice Guidelines.

In addition, we encourage you to join us for the NetWork Open Meeting held each year at the CHEST meeting.
