Capacity Building Inventory

  1. Review each of the individual items and examine the extent to which each of the following competency statements is true of your coalition.
  2. In the space provided write the number that corresponds to your view of that competency.

    5= competency fully developed.
    4= competency is a strength but could use some work.
    3= competency present but in serious need of work.
    2= competency is barely visible, needs significant work.
    1= competency not present.

    5. _____Evaluating and revising the plans and activities of the coalition as necessary.
  4. TRAINING CAPABILITY
    1. _____Reviews and assesses the strengths and weaknesses of its members.
    2. _____Provides training to leaders of committees and work groups.
    3. _____Uses training as method for keeping coalition members interested and active.
    4. _____Provides training for all new members on purpose and scope of coalition.
