Directions for Future ResearchTable of ContentsIntroduction This study provided a foundation for documentation of the emerging asthma coalitions. Future research should focus on specific dimensions of asthma coalitions than were possible in this study; for example, further study should be conducted on what factors influence the implementation of coalition activities. In addition, the impact of coalitions on the primary goals of asthma coalitions should be the focus of further research. This type of research will help answer questions as to the use of the asthma coalition as a strategy for addressing asthma as a public health concern as well as support the need for funding of coalitions and their activities. |
