Set a date to speak to elementary school-age children
about smoking and lung health issues with the help of our completely
updated curriculum guide.
The Educational Guide on Lung Health for Elementary
School Students provides everything you or a classroom teacher
needs to know to conduct 45- to 60-minute lessons on lung health,
asthma, the effects of smoking on the lungs, and ways to resist
smoking. Each lesson may be used on its own or combined in a
series on lung health education for grades 3-6.
Included are objectives, standards, guiding questions,
key points, teaching points, vocabulary, worksheets, activities,
resource and materials lists, and achievement indicators to help
you. The guide and supporting documents are available in English
and Spanish. Slides are not part of the lessons, although you may
want to include some (especially those on advertising).
