CME/CE Claim Instructions
Pulmonary Update and Literature Review
To complete the Education Activity Evaluation for Pulmonary Update and Literature Review, claim CME/CE credits, and download CME/CE certificates and certificates of attendance (COA), please see the instructions below. You must complete your evaluation and download your certificate by May 23, 2021.
- Log in to learning.chestnet.org using your email address and password.
- Find this course in your course list.
- Complete the post-assessment and Education Activity Evaluation and click the Claim Credit Now link.
- To complete the claiming process, click “Claim” next to the corresponding activity under “Claimable CME Activities.”
- Select the type of credit you want to claim, and enter the number of hours you are claiming, commensurate with your participation.
- Finalize by clicking the final “Claim” button.
- Your certificate and transcript can be viewed under “Claimed CME Activities” on your dashboard.

Physician Credit
The American College of Chest Physicians is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The American College of Chest Physicians designates this live activity for a maximum of 8.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Nursing Credit
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 16433, for 8.5 contact hours.
Nurse Practitioners
The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by the ACCME. Individuals are responsible for checking with the AANPCB for further guidelines.
Physician Assistants
American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) accepts certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society. PAs may receive a maximum of 8.5 Category 1 credits for completing this activity.
Maintenance of Certification Statement
Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn up to 8.5 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC points.
Upon successful completion of this course, CHEST will submit your completion data to ABIM via ACCME's Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) for MOC points. Please allow 3-5 business days after claiming for points to be reflected on your ABIM record.

After you register for the course, you will receive an e-mail an hour before the course with a link to a zoom call. Course material can be found on the CHEST Learning Management site one week before the course. Log in with your user name and password to access a PDF of the course slides.
Laptops or tablet computers and an internet connection are required for the course.
Cancellation Policy
Tuition refund requests for this course must be received in writing by January 19, 2021 for a full refund, less a $100 processing fee. Refunds will not be given after January 19.
