2022 Financials

CHEST’s financial goals for 2022 were broad in scope, covering growth through membership, Annual Meeting attendance and sponsorship, new educational offerings, and more. The goal was set to achieve an operating margin of $1.2 million by December 2022. CHEST achieved that goal and is on an upward trajectory and, like many others, continues to recover from the financial impact of the global pandemic.

Revenue sources

CHEST focuses on innovation in education to bolster its revenue. Through the Annual Meeting, new simulation courses, and partnerships with key industry partners, the work that supports the organization also serves to improve patient care. CHEST also relies on the annual dues of its 20,000+ global members.
