2018 live learning schedule to feature old favorites; three new courses

By: Kathy Daniels, MBA, MSIMC

Next year’s live learning lineup once again promises hands-on, interactive education for the entire clinical chest medicine team.

CHEST’s live learning education offers a variety of chest medicine content designed to help physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, physician assistants, thoracic surgeons, and other health-care professionals build their procedural skills to better manage patient care. Regular favorites, such as Ultrasonography: Essentials in Critical Care, Comprehensive Bronchoscopy With Endobronchial Ultrasound, and Mechanical Ventilation: Advanced Critical Care Management are offered multiple times, and Advanced Clinical Training in Pulmonary Function Testing – a first time favorite featured in 2016 – are back again.

New courses include Lung Cancer: Physiologic Assessment and Optimization Prior to Therapy (July); Advanced Diagnostic and Therapeutic Bronchoscopy (August); and Venovenous ECMO for Respiratory Failure (December).

As a special offer, all CHEST 2017 attendees will receive 20% off course tuition through November 2. Registration is available online, or attendees can register at the CHEST Store in Experience CHEST within the exhibit hall.

For more information, including agenda items, faculty, and registration info, visit the CHEST store or livelearning.chestnet.org. We hope to see you at the CHEST Innovation, Simulation, and Training Center in 2018.
