There is a range of best-of-CHEST content found in the CHEST Curriculum Pathways for Asthma and Lung Cancer, with inclusion primarily consisting of video assets, journal articles, case-based questions, and slide sets available within the past 3 years from the pathways’ published date (for asthma, this is September 2022; for lung cancer, this is September 2023).

Curriculum pathways are for the whole clinical care team. Therefore, we offer these credit claiming options:

Digital flashcards feature recall-style questions found in each respective pathway. The question and answer choices are found on the digital card’s front, and the correct answer is found on the digital card’s back. There are currently 30 flashcards in the CHEST Curriculum Pathway for Asthma and 20 flashcards in the CHEST Curriculum Pathway for Lung Cancer.

You must successfully complete all requirements, which include the following:

• Review pathway assets, and, then, pass each module’s one- to three-question posttest.
• Then, pass a 20-question summative exam based on multiple choice questions found in each respective pathway.
• Lastly, provide responses to a five-question action plan. Action plan responses will demonstrate how you will implement what you have learned in each pathway in your clinical practice. CHEST will review responses. If input is satisfactorily provided, you will be eligible to receive a certificate of completion. When the certificate of completion is earned, a badge option will appear in your learning management profile. You will be able to add the badge and share it via your LinkedIn profile.

Please note: The passing rate for posttests and exam(s) is 70%; you may retake posttests and exam(s) as needed.
