CHEST Analytics: What CHEST members need to know

CHEST is embarking on a new analytics project providing members with a voice in the future of pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. CHEST Analytics will combine member surveys, expert panels, focus groups, ethnographic studies, and data analysis to provide unique insights for the CHEST community and our partners. CHEST members will have complimentary access to the results of surveys and other data collection activities for research purposes, and revenue from CHEST Analytics will fund development of innovative products and services for the CHEST community.

  • CHEST Analytics provides CHEST members the opportunity to impact patient care; shape research and development in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine; and improve chest medicine by providing insights, thought leadership, and opinions on topics of importance in the field.
  • Health care is changing and data are informing decisions, highlighting opportunities, and identifying challenges. CHEST is at the forefront of providing valuable information and resources to our partners and members through our new CHEST Analytics initiative.

  • Revenue from CHEST Analytics will fund development of innovative products and services for the CHEST community.
  • A robust privacy policy has been implemented and CHEST will employ best practices currently in use by commercial, professional, and public organizations that are dedicated to providing choice and protecting privacy. CHEST members have the ability to opt out of having information released or members can alternately opt out of specific categories such as the release of their e-mail address or survey responses. CHEST will always aggregate survey responses and any information released to third parties will be de-identified and anonymous.
