Patient Education Resources
The ACCP and its philanthropic arm, The CHEST Foundation, produce a variety of patient education materials on lung diseases and lung-health issues for ACCP members to share with their patients. Topics include asthma, COPD, lung cancer, and patient guides based on ACCP’s respected evidence-based clinical practice guidelines. The Foundation also produces materials specifically for chest physicians to help their patients. Most are available online at no cost on The Foundation’s website, onebreath.org.
The CHEST Foundation’s public-facing OneBreath® initiative draws from the expertise of the ACCP to raise public awareness and encourage healthy behaviors. The OneBreath website provides prevention tools, wellness tips, and community-based activities to members, their patients, and the general public. Visit onebreath.org to learn more, and encourage your patients to take advantage of OneBreath’s health-education offerings.
