Course Description

Expert faculty Julie Morisset, MD, and Ayodeji Adegunsoye, MD, MSc, PhD, FCCP, talk with moderator Mary Beth Scholand, MD, FCCP, on the health inequities that are important to factor into interstitial lung disease (ILD) diagnosis and care. They discuss the symptoms and patient profiles associated with ILD, appropriate tests that may help validate a suspicion of ILD, and next steps in the process, including how to document and when and where to refer.

Nursing Credit

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 16433, for 1.00 contact hours.

Maintenance of Certification Statement

Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn up to 1.00 MOC Part 2 Medical Knowledge points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC points.

Upon successful completion of this course, CHEST will submit your completion data to ABIM via ACCME's Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) for MOC points. To prevent delay in receiving your ABIM points, please make sure that your ABIM number, birthdate and full name in your CHEST account matches your ABIM account.
