The future of chest medicine depends on who has access to opportunity. Through philanthropy, CHEST is expanding that access, supporting travel grants, mentorship programs, educational fellowships, and hands-on learning experiences that shape careers and strengthen the profession.

With the support of donors like you, in 2025, we were able to fund another year of the unique APCCMPD and CHEST Medical Educator Diversity Scholar Fellowship award, give out simulation scholarships for the first time, and fund impactful honor and memorial lectures at CHEST 2025, celebrating individuals who are advancing chest medicine, mentorship, training, and more.

In celebration of CHEST’s 90th anniversary, our donors empowered the 90 for 90 Campaign, making it possible to award 90 early career clinicians with travel grants to attend the CHEST Annual Meeting, many for the first time. For these grantees, the impact extended well beyond attendance. They described presenting their research to national audiences, forming mentoring relationships that will continue into their careers, participating in advanced courses and hands-on sessions they would not otherwise have accessed, and returning home with new knowledge they are already applying to patient care and education. Several shared that without donor-funded support, attendance would not have been possible at all.

Support of education is not simply supporting programs; it is shaping who enters the field, who stays in the field, and how the next generation of clinicians learns, leads, and serves patients. In 2025, that investment was visible, tangible, and deeply felt across CHEST’s educational ecosystem.

By giving to Dedication to Education, you are investing in people: future faculty, mentors, innovators, and leaders in chest medicine. Give today to support the clinicians who will carry this field forward. MAKE A GIFT »

Investing in the future of medicine

Through education, you are investing in people. In their potential. In their growth. In the future faculty, mentors, innovators, and clinical leaders who will carry chest medicine forward.

The impact of that investment does not end at the CHEST Annual Meeting or in a single course. It continues in hospitals, clinics, classrooms, and communities around the world. Make a gift today to invest in the profession you love and in the clinicians who will define its future.
