Through experiential learning and the use of the flipped classroom model, we’ve created a unique learner-centric and interactive opportunity for attendees looking to improve their pleural procedures skills.
We use cadaveric models for teaching and focus on hands-on instruction of how to safely perform ultrasound-guided thoracentesis, tunneled pleural catheter placement, flex-rigid pleuroscopies, and more.
This course significantly improves a participant’s technical and cognitive skills for procedures that can be immediately implemented in practice.
