This educational activity is designed to provide learners with didactics and interactive touch experiences related to the diagnosis and treatment of the presented patient. The learner will apply their knowledge of COPD to the patient case and will receive feedback on their choices as well as the medical justification for the correct choice.

Learning Objectives
After completing this online course, you will be able to:

  1. Describe the COPD GRADE/STAGE for a patient given clinical information.
  2. For a given COPD GRADE/STAGE, choose the guideline-recommended therapy.
  3. Identify the optimum treatment for an acute exacerbation of COPD (AECOPD).
  4. Identify strategies to reduce exacerbations.
