Additionally, CHEST provides opportunities for employees to participate in activities for both professional and personal development. Participation is voluntary.

“Lunch and Learn” sessions geared toward professional development are offered throughout the year. Employees are invited to bring their lunches and hear presentations by experts on given topics. Staff is invited to suggest topics, so presentations address areas of interest and need. Recent Lunch and Learn topics have included:

  • Creativity and Innovation
  • Creating Your Personal Brand

Lunch and Learn sessions are also offered on health and fitness topics. These have included presentations by registered dietitians and personal trainers. CHEST has also hosted a Heart Health Discussion Panel led by physicians and health-care experts who treat heart disease.

CHEST hosts an annual Health Fair for employees and extends the invitation to neighboring businesses. And, additional wellness programs are offered in our building so employees can easily participate. These have included:
