CHEST CHEST Website Redesign FAQs

CHEST Website Redesign FAQs

Updated July 15, 2021

CHEST recently reorganized its website, chestnet.org, to help you more easily find the content, educational courses, products, and other tools you need to enhance your patient care, further your education, and connect with our community of chest medicine professionals. CHEST’s website is now divided into three main sections:

  • Membership & Community houses information on becoming a CHEST member or renewing membership, details about our members’ accomplishments, CHEST NetWorks, research and community service grant applications, leadership opportunities, and career development resources.
  • Guidelines & Topic Collections focuses on CHEST’s high-quality content, such as our clinical practice guidelines, the journal CHEST®, the CHEST Physician® publication, and collections of resources organized by clinical topic.
  • Learning & Events is where you’ll be able to complete e-learning modules; register for events such as the CHEST Annual Meeting, Board Review, and simulation courses; purchase or log in to CHEST SEEK™ Library; play games in the CHEST Player Hub; and claim CME credit.

Along with the improved navigation, the website is now mobile responsive, so you’ll have a seamless experience across all of your devices.

Frequently asked questions

While our website redesign is geared toward improving your experience and making it easier to find what you need, we know it can take some time to get used to the changes. We’ve provided instructions on how to quickly navigate to some of the most frequently accessed pages on the CHEST website.

How do I log in to my CHEST account?

You can access your account through the person icon that is labeled ‘Account’ in the top navigation on desktop or the navigation icons across the bottom of your device screen on mobile.

How do I apply for membership?

Through the Membership & Community section, you’ll find a “JOIN NOW” button in the menu. You also can visit our pages geared toward different types of members (physicians, nonphysicians, international members, early career professionals, and trainees), which each have a link to our application process.

How do I apply for/access my grants?

Grant information and links to access the Grants Management System are accessible through the Membership & Community section. In the secondary navigation bar on desktop or in the menu panel on mobile devices, there is a Grant Opportunities link. All other grants pages are accessible through the blue left-hand menu on that page.

How do I access the journal CHEST?

There are many ways to access the journal website, journal.chestnet.org. The easiest is to click on the icon for the journal in the top right corner of our website or in the bottom navigation menu on your mobile device. You’ll also find a curated selection of original research, editorials, and more from the journal on several pages throughout the CHEST website.

Where can I find COVID-19 content?

The COVID-19 Resource Center is now accessed through the Guidelines & Topic Collections section in the Topic Collections menu. COVID-19 is located in the list of Clinical Topics alongside COPD, Critical Care, and other topics.
