CHEST members are empowered to make themselves heard and make a difference in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. Our committees, NetWorks, Board of Regents, and Presidents work diligently to ensure that CHEST addresses the key issues that affect our members, patients, and communities.

Because of our volunteer leaders, we are able to provide the most relevant and impactful content and educational offerings for the entire chest medicine community.

Meet our leaders:

Upcoming self-nominations for leadership positions

Help us shape the future of CHEST and make strategic decisions, influence your peers, and serve in a CHEST leadership position.

If you are interested in being a CHEST leader, you will have a second opportunity to complete a call for a 2022 committee application in late summer/early fall 2021. CHEST members will receive an email announcing the leadership opportunities available. We actively support candidate applications that recognize our diverse and inclusive chest medicine clinician community.

Those members who have already applied for a 2022 committee position will be notified of their nomination status in August 2021. Please contact elections@chestnet.org with any inquiries.

What’s next?

Keep an eye out in October 2021 for the CHEST 2022 Call for Honor Lecture and Annual Award nominations, where we recognize our members who are making significant or meritorious contributions to chest medicine.
