It’s almost here! While we would have preferred to be together, CHEST 2021 online conference promises an engaging, educational, and fun experience! The virtual event kicks off on Sunday, October 17, and concludes on Wednesday, October 20, with multiple tracks, team-based sessions, game breaks, and bite-sized learning. There’s sure to be something for everyone!

During the CHEST 2021 keynote address, Demondes Haynes, MD, FCCP, will speak to persevering amid the COVID-19 pandemic and the importance of identifying the things that keep us motivated. He will address the importance of empathic communication with patients and the contribution of creating a more diverse and inclusive workforce in medicine. Dr. Haynes, who is a CHEST member, currently serves as the Associate Dean for Admissions for the School of Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine.
