Waianae Farmers’ Market

8 am – 12 pm HST | 86-120 Farrington Hwy, Waianae

Open to all CHEST 2023 attendees

In partnership with the Waianae Coast Community Health Center, CHEST will host a table about pediatric and youth asthma awareness and prevention at the Waianae Farmers’ Market. We will be distributing free masks and spacers to the community. Join us for the opportunity to shop from local vendors, visit the CHEST table, and get to know one of our CHEST Community Connections organizations.

Join members of the Women in Chest Medicine (WiCM) Interest Group for an insightful and dynamic luncheon featuring a panel conversation with key leaders: Patricia Rivera, MD, FCCP; Amanda Bettencourt, PhD, APRN; Amy Boeckmann, RRT, MPA; and Geneva Tatem, MD, FCCP. Speakers will reflect on their individual journeys to leadership and provide guidance on how attendees can empower themselves and their colleagues to be strong advocates and allies. Plus, join the WiCM Steering Committee members for speed mentoring on Monday, October 9, 8 am to 9 am HST, in the Training and Transitions Lounge.
