This premier course reviews the information you should know for the ABIM Critical Care Medicine Certification Exam. The exam tests your knowledge and clinical judgment in crucial areas of critical care medicine. Course content mirrors the ABIM exam content outline for critical care board review. Whether you need to certify, recertify, or simply review, this course offers a thorough overview you can put to the test.

Pre-Event Education

Prior to the live online event, attendees will gain access to 34 recorded lectures for the program. These 45-minute lectures cover course material specific to each discipline and prepare attendees for the live online sessions.

Live Virtual Sessions (August 13-16)

Each of the individual lectures has a corresponding 25-minute, live online session hosted by the specific faculty member. During these sessions, attendees will engage in case-based interactive learning, including use of an audience response system. This will allow faculty to monitor the level of knowledge held by the attendees and teach to both correct and incorrect responses. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask live questions to the faculty and engage in threaded discussions on a peer-to-peer level.

All attendees will have access to the course recordings until July 31, 2022.

Maintenance of Certification Statement

Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn up to 19.5 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC points. Upon successful completion of this course, CHEST will submit your completion data to ABIM via ACCME's Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) for MOC points. Please allow 3-5 business days after claiming for points to be reflected on your ABIM record.
