About this course

Prepare for the National Board of Echocardiography Examination of Special Competence in Critical Care Echocardiography (CCEeXAM) with this virtual course taught by expert faculty. The interactive curriculum is specifically designed for learners who are getting ready to take the upcoming CCEeXAM.

With a focus on the advanced critical care echocardiography (ACCE) knowledge base, this course will help hone your expertise of CCEeXAM concepts like image interpretation, clinical applications, stroke volume, and valve disorders.

Physician Credit

CHEST is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

CHEST designates this live activity for a maximum of 27.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

CME credit hours are subject to change. Final CME credit hours will be provided on-site.

The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit from organizations accredited by the ACCME. Individuals are responsible for checking with the AANPCB for further guidelines.

Maintenance of Certification Statement

Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn up to 27.50 MOC Part 2 Medical Knowledge points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC points. Upon successful completion of this course, CHEST will submit your completion data to ABIM via ACCME's Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) for MOC points.
