About this course

Cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) is integral to evaluating and managing a wide and growing range of cardiopulmonary symptoms and conditions. In this hands-on course, you’ll gain familiarity with skills including calibration, test setup and performance, quality control (QC) measures, test interpretation, and reporting.

NEW: Special technical track option! Attendees can choose to participate in clinical or technical tracks during the last 2 hours on the second day of the course. Clinical track participants will practice reviewing and generating clinical interpretations of CPET data using sample cases. Technical track participants will receive a deeper analysis of calibration and procedures for ensuring technical validity of the CPET, instruction on data collection procedures and troubleshooting technical errors, and practice on procedures related to spirometry. You can decide which track you prefer once you arrive.

Cancellation Policy

Tuition refund requests for this course must be received in writing by 4 weeks prior to the course start date for a full refund, less a $100 processing fee. Refunds will not be given after 4 weeks prior to the course start date. If you choose "Become a Member" when you register, only your course registration can be cancelled. No refunds will be given for membership.

CHEST reserves the right to cancel this course no later than 4 weeks prior to the start date. If a cancellation is necessary, your registration fee will be refunded, but CHEST is not responsible for other costs of attendance, such as travel.
