In this course, you’ll receive leading-edge updates on best practices for invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation and airway clearance, including strategies to mitigate recent home respiratory care product discontinuations.

Learn state-of-the-art techniques for managing home mechanical ventilators in patients with neuromuscular disease, obstructive lung disease, obesity hypoventilation, and other chronic hypoxemic/hypercapnic respiratory failure conditions. Through hands-on simulations and live interactive discussions, you’ll gain experience managing common airway emergencies. You will also become familiar with billing practices for chronic care management models.

Your tuition fee includes attendance at all course sessions and electronic access to course materials. (Printed materials or flash drives will not be provided.) Lunch and refreshments during breaks will be provided. Breakfast is available at CHEST-affiliated hotels.

Cancellation Policy

Tuition refund requests for this course must be received in writing by 4 weeks prior to the course start date for a full refund, less a $100 processing fee. Refunds will not be given after 4 weeks prior to the course start date. If you choose "Become a Member" when you register, only your course registration can be cancelled. No refunds will be given for membership.

CHEST reserves the right to cancel this course no later than 4 weeks prior to the start date. If a cancellation is necessary, your registration fee will be refunded, but CHEST is not responsible for other costs of attendance, such as travel.
