Leadership

CHEST members are empowered to make themselves heard and make a difference in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. Our committees, NetWorks, Board of Regents, and Presidents work diligently to ensure that CHEST addresses the key issues that affect our members, patients, and communities.

Because of our volunteer leaders, we are able to provide the most relevant and impactful content and educational offerings for the entire chest medicine community.

Meet our leaders:

CHEST 2022 honor lectures and award nominations

Now accepting your nominations

Do you have a colleague who should be recognized for their distinguished work in chest medicine? Consider submitting a nomination for an honor lecture or annual award at CHEST 2022. Each year we honor those advancing chest medicine, providing mentorship and training, furthering the mission of CHEST, and more. Review the openings and criteria below, then nominate a colleague worthy of this prestigious recognition. Those selected for an honor lecture will be invited to present at CHEST 2022, and award winners will be formally recognized at CHEST 2022.

CHEST 2022 will advance diversity, equity, and inclusion

We celebrate the diversity of our members and the patients we treat. In our caring for others, we naturally strive for equity and inclusion. It only follows that the CHEST 2022 program supports diversity, equity, and inclusion as well. Selection priority will be given to outstanding nominations that represent diversity of gender, race, ethnicity, and professional status.
