Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA.
What are your research interests?
Asthma and COPD.
What led you to join your Network?
I was inspired by the opportunity to become a better clinician, leader, and educator and to be able to connect with other colleagues and stay up to date on the latest research.
What achievements are you most proud of contributing to within your Network?
I have written CHEST Physician® articles and contributed toward the development of infographics and education podcasts. I serve as a reviewer for the CHEST Curriculum Pathway for Asthma and am on the Steering Committee for Bridging Specialties®: Timely Diagnosis and Treatment for COPD. I have also submitted sessions for the annual meetings and served as an expert speaker on topics related to asthma and COPD.
How has being in a Network benefited your career and your experience as a CHEST member?
Being involved in the Network helped me grow in the field of asthma and COPD.
What are your hobbies?
Spending time with my family, playing tennis, and cycling.
What is something you cannot live without (after family and friends)?
My profession and love for my specialty.
