Where do you work?
Virginia Commonwealth University Health System, Richmond, Virginia.

What are your research interests?
Cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, and primary ciliary dyskinesia.

What led you to join your Network?
Academic research, clinical education, and quality improvement.

What achievements are you most proud of contributing to within your Network?
CHEST games, CHEST Annual Meeting sessions, publication in the journal CHEST®, creating educational content for CHEST, and being a reviewer for CHEST.

How has being in a Network benefited your career and your experience as a CHEST member?
I have enjoyed collaboration with colleagues, learning and development of educational content, enhanced research, publishing work, and reviewing content.

What are your hobbies?
Running, swimming, exploring science and religion, and traveling to scenic hiking spots.

What is something you cannot live without (after family and friends)?
Purpose of life—to be an effective member of the community and the world.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with your Network peers?
CHEST is one of the best organizations that has so many areas to enhance one’s career—which is so comforting to know as a chest physician. The whole community is very welcoming, informative, enjoyable, and opportunistic.
