Sleep Medicine Network

This Network promotes sleep medicine as a specialty, provides educational and research opportunities, and raises awareness of issues pertinent to the practice of sleep medicine, specifically within home-based mechanical ventilation, neuromuscular disease, nonrespiratory sleep, and respiratory-related sleep disorders.

CHEST members can join this Network for leadership and networking opportunities, plus the chance to hear the latest news first.

Home-Based Mechanical Ventilation and Neuromuscular

Focusing on advancing the clinical practice, knowledge, promotion, and advancement of clinicians, caregivers, and patients on the long-term respiratory care of individuals with neuromuscular conditions, and individuals requiring home-based mechanical ventilation to maximize their quality of life and home-based living

Non-Respiratory Sleep

Focusing on advancing the clinical practice, knowledge, promotion, and advancement of areas related to nonrespiratory sleep, such as hypersomnia syndromes, circadian rhythm disorders, movement disorders, and insomnia

Respiratory-related Sleep Disorders

Focusing on advancing the clinical practice, knowledge, promotion, and advancement of areas related respiratory-related sleep disorders, such as sleep apneas and hypoventilation syndromes
