CHEST Pulmonary Receives Indexation With PubMed Central

Acceptance into leading biomedical literature archive expands visibility and accessibility of journal content

Glenview, IL – The American College of Chest Physicians® (CHEST) announced that CHEST® Pulmonary, part of the CHEST® journal portfolio, has been accepted for full participation in PubMed Central (PMC), an important milestone that significantly expands the visibility and discoverability of research published in the journal.

“This is an incredibly meaningful milestone for CHEST Pulmonary and for every author who has entrusted us with their work,” said Matthew C. Miles, MD, MEd, FCCP, Editor in Chief of CHEST Pulmonary. “Researchers and clinicians around the world rely on PubMed to discover the literature that informs their research, clinical practice, and scientific inquiry. CHEST Pulmonary’s full inclusion in PubMed Central gives the high-quality work of our authors greater opportunity to inform current research and advance patient care.”
