Where do you work?
Yale School of Medicine.
What are your research interests and how does this apply to your position within the Networks?
My research is in two areas: sleep apnea diagnosis and treatment, then sleep apnea in women.
How did you become interested and involved in the Sleep Medicine Network?
I went to a Network mixer many years ago and met Dave Schulman and Aneesa Das there!
Are you involved in any other activities or volunteer positions at CHEST?
Yes, I am Chair of the Women & Pulmonary Work Group for the CHEST Foundation, Vice Chair of the Sleep Medicine Board Review, and am a Trustee of the CHEST Foundation.
What clinical research is most interesting to you right now?
The current focus on sex and gender in diseases.
What are your hobbies?
I like to spend time with my two rescue dogs and three children the most. I love to ski.
What is something you cannot live without (after family and friends)?
My dogs!
